Costa Rica vs. Hawaii

Costa Rica vs. Hawaii

At first I only wanted Hawaii, but now I am thinking Costa Rica! FH and I love to do stuff! We want the first half to be full of fun activities and the 2nd half of the honeymoon to be relaxing.

What do you think?

also how long is the flight to costa Rica?

if you go to costa rica you can see some of the rain forest and stuff, hawaii is more romantic, and you can do volcano tours and pearl harbor...

i think they're both wonderful honeymoon places...which ever you don't pick you can do for an anniversary or something

Those are the two places we are considering also. My brother went to Costa Rica and although he loved it, he said the humidity was ridiculous and it made it feel so much hotter than it really was and he would not be returning because of that. We will most likely chose Hawaii (although a lot more expensive) because of the ideal climates there.

we are doing hawaii but my bm went to CR. She had some issues with the airport locations and switching planes vs driving to the resort so id consider that when booking. Hawaii is a little more friendly as its easier to get around. i did hear the CR is beautiful and I'd like to check it out one day.

We are doing Costa Rica for our HM this April so I will definitely let you know how it is. We've honestly heard nothing but good things about it. The flight is much shorter than Hawaii and personally, I think you can get more bang for your buck in CR. Still, i'm sure you'd have a blast in either place.

I thought Hawaii was amazing!! However, it is very expensive. I have never been to Costa Rica so I can't really compare. But you can never go wrong with Hawaii.
