I posted this on the 08 board but I figured maybe someone else can help...Anyone who has ordered invitations from Costco, what are the envelopes it comes with? It says it comes with inner envelopes but what are these like and can they be used as the regular envelope? If there not then where do I get the envelopes from? This maybe a stupid question but I'm confused and I really need to order my invitations ASAP!! TIA!!

Re: Costco Invitations
Costco.com gives you 25-30% off eInvite.com's invitations - are those the invitations you are referring to? I purchased my invitations from them and they were great and came in quickly.
Before you place your order, you can have them send you a sample of the invitation, reception cards, and with the inner envelope for $1.25.
The price is for the invitation, inner envelopes and tissues. When you are placing your order, it tells you what other things are available that you can add to the order and the quantities you want. You can add the outer envelopes (you can choose to have them print your return address on the flap), RSVP cards w/ the little envelopes, reception cards, and if you want lining on the inner envelopes and if you want extra outer envelopes. HTH.

Re: Costco Invitations
I am not dissuading you but target has invitations as well and explains exactly what the invitations and evelopes are like on the back. Let me know if you can.

Re: Costco Invitations
I believe Target's invitations are DIY, but I may be mistaken...

Yea targets are do it yourself. we were going to do that but its so much work and if its not that much more expensive then we are just going to order them.

I know the invitations I want already I have gotten samples from other companies and these are the same but cheaper so I want to order them but I didn't see anything about outer envelopes I saw about getting the lining & the extra envelopes but nothing about outer envelopes unless I missed it I am going to check again..this maybe a stupid question but whats the difference between the inner envelope and the outer?

Another stupid question can you use that as the outer envelope or is it too thin? I am trying to save money where ever I can so do I have to have 2 envelopes?

Re: Costco Invitations
i ordered samples of the costco ones- they were beautiful- but of course I picked the most outrageously expensive ones- but i wanted to mention something since you want to do without the inner envelope- my friend had a ribbon around the invite with each guest's name written instead of an inner envelope- and it was something she did herself.
