Costs? Wedding Packages

I am working on choosing a photographer and a photo package but I have no idea how much these packages usually run.

I was quoted $2700 for: I get all the proofs engagement shoot 24 shots home shots on the wedding day for both the bride and groom unlimited shooting no overtime (he will work from 2pm to 2am if needed) no travel costs 3 parent albums 16 pictures in each placecards with photos blown up shot for the reception 50 picture wedding album and more this is all I can remember at the moment.

What other quotes has anyone gotten? It would be a big help in knowing if this price is average or extremely high or low.
