Anyone else using this venue? I am booked for 2009 and it will be decorated for xmas... looked beautiful! When doing a search on this board I found alot of 2004/2005 brides, but was unable to access any pics for Nov. Dec. weddings there, would love to see it decorated for the holidays! Also, my wedding is Thanksgiving weekend... the lobby will be decorated for xmas which is beautiful, but I am unsure about my colors, not really sure if I want to do too much xmasy stuff?? any advice would be appreciated!!!

Since the hall will already be decorated with Christmas colors it is probably easy to stick to those (green, red, golds). You don't have to do red dresses, you could always do a champagne color for the girls dresses.
One bit of advice about the cottage. The florist always puts up a flower piece above the mantle, (for your wedding it will probably be evergreens and reds) so when searching for a florist you don't need to pay for one, that is if you don't mind the one thats there.

We are booked there also but for 2010!!!!!
We had our e-party at the Carriage House and was floored at the wait staff, and food. People are still raving about how wonderful everything was!!!!!

I don't have any pix, but I went to a bridal expo there during the Christmas season and it was absolutely gorgeous!! The Cottage was in our top 2 RH choices but we ultimately went with the other one. Beautiful place though!

i am gettin g married there in june. they have pix of the cottage decorated in thier albms. you cold also take a ride over there now and see.

I am getting married there the week after you! :) Im not sure if I can help with colors since I am completely clueless myself. The whole room is decorated with a maroon color though, so I was thinking about doing that for my colors. Isn't is beautiful there?? :) :) :)

I am getting married there in October 2010. I am going to be using pink and chocolate as my colors, with a burgendy/maroon accent. My decision to book at the cottage has been the best decision we have made so far in planning our wedding! The cottage seems like it would be absolutely beautiful during the christmas season, i dont have any pictures of it all decorated though, sorry. Maybe you could try the website, I think they may have some pictures in their gallery.
