With the fluctuation of the weather I managed to get a sore throat which has escalated into a cough and watery eyes. I can hold onto a cough for a week if I don't constantly drink cough syrup. Any recommendations on what to take, I don't want to suffer for long.

if you have watery eyes, it sounds like you are allergic to something - try an antihistamine syrup for cold & allergy
