Could I have 2 different

Photography companies at my wedding?? I prefer one to kind of follow my FH and one to follow me. The only problem I see will be at the Vanderbilt Museum which is where we would be taking our photos and maybe the ceremony at the Reception Hall.

what do you ladies think????

I have a company with two photgraphers. Problem is this I spoke with one girl who used the company I booked and almost had a stroke when she received her pictures. I am hearing a lot of negative things about this company.

So I was wondering if I should keep them and just hire another photography company as well.

I would maybe hire another compay only for a partial day, like when FH si getitng ready and the ceremony but not the RH and photo shoot. Otherwise they're going to get in ech otehr's way. One of them has to be the director of it all and set up all the shots

We booked 2 photogs through Duet and had one go to DH's house and one come to mine.

You have to be careful with booking 2 separate photog companies. Some companies actually have it in the contract that they are to be the only hired photographer for your event.

I believe most photographers do not allow another company to photograph

you could prob get away with it if they will ONLY be with FH and not photographing together at the hall or museum

plus, I think it might be a little hectic having 2 diff companies, every company has their own way of doing things and it might get a little messy...which photographer will know to be the 'main' one? will they both be fighting each other to get a certain shot? who will be posing you and your BP?

i was just going to say this. i know that our contract has an exclusivity clause, i would imagine that it is standard...
