Re: Could someone please explain charting to me
All I know is that you have to test your Cm and take your temp at the same time every day before you get out of bed. Ive heard mixed things about it..Ive heard that its a pain in the As$ and that an ovulation kit can do the same thing..and then Ive heard that charting is great and very helpful. Im sorry Im not much more help. Im going to try and ovulation predcitor kit first and do charting if no luck with the kit. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Re: Could someone please explain charting to me
Yes, its a matter of taking your temperature in the morning to look for a shift.. which indicates ovulation has occured, but this is explained in TONS of detail in the book 'taking charge of your fertility'. It does seem like a lot of work I think, getting in the routine of taking your temp every morning at the same time, but ... can't be worse then midnight feedings, right?

Re: Could someone please explain charting to me
I find charting very helpful! TCOYF is a great book and will teach you wonders. You can also go to TCOYF and purchase a software called ovusoft (there is a 30 day free trial) which will do most of the charting for you. It costs 40 bucks but so far I have found that it is well worth it. There is another place you can go FF where you can chart for free but in my opinion I have not found it to be as easya nd I have also found it to be inaccurate at times.
Hope this helps!

Thanks girls...I think I will try the ovulation kit first and then move on to charting. I'm definitely going to pick up the book though.
