could someone please help end my argument with FI! RE: invitation wording!

grrr... so we are in a heated conversation about whose parent's name is mentioned first.

our invite starts with 'We, [bride] and [groom]'.... and then followed by 'with the blessing of our parents [groom's parents] and [brides parents]'

i TOLD him that since MY name was mentioned first, my parents names should be mentioned first and not his... and he insists that it doesnt have to be.

argh. whats the norm? he even googled it online and only found templates for when the couple is hosting but not even the parents names are mentioned! seriously. i just want to skip the parents names and just focus on OUR names to end this discussion!!!

HELP!

Sorry FH, but the bride's name and parents names go first!

I think that in order to make it flow better, it should be (bride's name), (groom's name)..............(bride's parents), (groom's parents).

ETA: the norm is that the bride's name goes first on invites.
