Could use a few hugs.

Just told my landlady what my move-out date will be. (June 30th...gives us a little extra time to get stuff done post-wedding if necessary).

- For anyone who may remember, I had considered telling her awhile ago because we have a wonderful relationship but that never happened.

Anyway...yeah, I came upstairs and sobbed like a baby.

I'm gonna miss this place I kinda grew up here...spent almost all of my twenties here.

My little third-floor walk-up one-bedroom multi-hyphenated 'treehouse'. (That's my nickname for my apartment; it's surrounded by trees and I always feel like I'm in Bart Simpson's treehouse).

She didn't take it so well...she's not angry, just sad. She's older - early eighties - and we've had a great relationship over the years.

I'm gonna miss her, I'm gonna miss this apartment, I'm gonna miss the neighborhood.



But I'm really excited about everything that's set to come in the next few months.

yeahhhh that's rough. but i mean, if you're close... maybe its not a goodbye. like send holiday cards and maybe drop by every once in awhile to say hi if you're in the area?

hopefully someone awesome moves in after you.

Aww, it's okay, any change like that is hard but she'll be okay and you'll be better than okay. Cheer up
