Could use some decorating help...

In my family room I have a sectional and a area rug..pictures below. The sectional is brown with light brown pillows. The area rug is sage, mauve, tan, off white and light brown.
I can't decide what color curtains to put in that room. The walls ar a cream color and that is a fireplace we are putting in. I am thinking Sage....? I want some color in the room so I don't want to go with a beige or tan curtain. Suggests...?

I have that rug in ivory! in DR where you have green
Id get the sage or the green color in the rugs for curtains or ivory if you want to go light

Tammy don't you love your rug, I think it is so beautiful and it must be really nice in Ivory. That is what I was thinking sage and maybe get some throw pillows for the sofa in sage.

I would pull both colors (perhaps sheers) in lavender and sage

I agree, get some throw pillows, maybe a nice throw blanket to drape on the arm in Sage and then some nice sheers in a sage color too! Bring in some color and tie it all together at teh same time!
