what you are giving as your favorss !!!

I have no idea what to give as our favors

We were going to just do a donation, but now we are thinking we want to give something.

We are doing personalized cd's with our favorite love songs, boxed cake (which is a traditional thing for us), and we will have take out boxes for the VH also

I LOVE those birdseed ornaments! Very cute and different! That said, I'm also a HUGE fan of the donation favor. I really wanted to do a donation but FH really wasn't into it and wanted to give something, so we're doing boxed cupcakes and biscotti for the next day's breakfast.

We did personalized mint tins, slipper baskets, and a candy bar at the end.

The main favor was a donation to the ASPCA.
We also had really beautiful frames that we used for place cards...that was a take home also. We had Jordan almonds on the table in little bags as well but that was done for tradition. And we had a candy bar.

I really like the ideas of a donation with a little bag of personalized M&Ms, but my fiancé wants our guests to really 'get' something and he thinks chocolate is tacky...so if not a donation, maybe wine or bottle opener...i think it's just 'stuff' people will be stuck carrying back and never use that's why i vote donation!!!

We're only doing a donation. When I gave a donation for Christmas last year, my family siad that it was the best gift ever!

What I'm trying to decide is how much to give. Is it standard to give a percentage of what you recieve in gifts, or do you just give a number that you feel is appropriate?
