why does the number of posts not change after each post ? Am I reading it wrong ?

I know, everyone says '10 more posts' etc, but mine seems to stay on one # for a while. or maybe it refreshes ?? I really never even noticed the # of posts till a few months ago !

I think you mean...that when you look at someone who has posted several times in one thread...that it has the same # for all of the posts?
if that is the case...then the # in every single one of your posts ever changes... so if you are at 2000...your 2000th post will read 2001 the next time you post

Allure, if you go look at the first post you ever did it will say 2425. They all change.
