Country Radio Station?

On the What Songs Make You Cry a few mentioned country songs you've been hearing. Is there a NEW country station? I MISS my old station!! I only get to hear country now when I watch CMT.

Re: Country Radio Station?

YAY another country fan..... i am soooo sad we still don't have a station yet!!! I listen to web radio when im at work. And i make cd's with new songs on it for the car. But i want country radio back!!!!!
They play some country on regular radio, but they get rid of the 'country' sound which is ridiculous!

Re: Country Radio Station?

I would love to know if there's a station as well. I think 107.1 or something like that used to be, but I'm not sure if it still is.

Re: Country Radio Station?

If you're in western Suffolk you can pick up a station out of Connecticut - I think it's 92.5

Re: Country Radio Station?

My DH just informed me that you can get lots of country stations on the internet radio - not that I know how to access it but I will have to find out. He put it on for me the other day. I kept saying 'Who's that?' when a song came on....I didn't know half the names I hate being without a country station. Is there really that little demand for one in this area?

edited to add: 107.1 WAS a country station. In fact I was listening to it alot during it's final weekend. I had been listening to alot of CD's in the car prior to that and I didn't know why they were saying 'goodbyes' until I turned it on that Monday morning and it was ??? hip hop? salsa? I forget

Re: Country Radio Station?

I used to listen to 94.3 when it was country, but now I listen to 92.5 which is that CT station. I live in eastern suffolk, but I lose it when I get closer to nassau
