And when you call, its so cool, you say your phone # and the recording automatically gives your name & adress!

Yes, it is actually a working phone number! I did it!

It was for $5.00 off a swifter, not a free one!

Finally got the coupon for those interested on Saturday. It wasn't for a free swifter wet jet - it was a $5 coupon.

They probably got so many calls from here that they couldn't afford to give it away for free! So they gave $5 off

Yeah. I noticed the note. But, when you called, didn't it say 'for your FREE Swiffer Wet Jet' on the phone message that asked for your info?
If it was a rumor, how did we call that number, get the message for a 'free' one and then they got a hold of our names and addresses to send the $5.00 off?

Re: Coupon for a free swifter wet jet mop!!!

I could have sworn it said free on the message too, but I guess we'd have a heck of a time proving it.

And one the reason I really noticed was because a couple of days later, I called for my mother and the message THEN said $5 coupon. I was like hey, they didn't say that last time.....

I got the same coupon and I SWORE that it said FREE on the phone as well...I think they didn't realize they would be so overwhelmed with the response and blamed it on an internet rumor. I wonder if they told LIW to take down the rumor as well? LOL...
