Courteney Cox has found a way to fill her spare time post Friends. The star is expecting her first child with wacky hubby and fellow thesp David Arquette, E! has learned.

No other details were released by the couple's publicist.

It's great news for the camera-friendly twosome, who met on the set of 1996's Scream and have been married just under five years. The couple has talked publicly about their infertility woes and just recently denied a report that Cox was with child.

Rumors of a pregnancy began when Arquette's brother Alexis let slip the potential family secret while taping Sharon Osbourne's talk show in October.

Cox's publicist rushed to deny the story and the segment was re-edited before making it to air to exclude the announcement.

Just weeks before Alexis' baby bugaboo, the duo had revealed their conception woes to 20/20's Barbara Walters. In her effort to become a mom, Cox told Walters she has suffered through 'many miscarriages.'

Cox said the couple had begun trying to conceive via in vitro fertilization. If that failed, Cox said, they might consider a surrogate mother or adoption, but only as a last resort.

'I do want his genes,' Cox told Walters at the time, 'and I would probably try a surrogate before that…but then, absolutely, adoption.'

The only possible problem that remains for Cox will be hiding her budding belly on Friends--her character Monica and TV hubby Chandler Bing have been exploring adoption this season after being unable to conceive. But with shooting on the series' 10th and final season scheduled to wrap soon it may not be an issue.

Her brother in law (David's brother) said it on a talk show a month ago but I think Courtney didn't want anyone knowing yet (OOPS) so I think it was one of those things that we all knew but out of respect no one really publicized in the media until she and her hubby were ready.

How nice :babyboy I did her that the brother said it and he wasn't surppose to.
