CP Question...

Since we are having a ocean/beach themed wedding to save money I was telling Colleen maybe we should try and do like a fishbowl with tropical fish, some sand and seashells around it... Is this a good idea? Will it be tacky?? I dont know anything about this, but I hate the idea of spending so much money on flowers that are gonna die like the day afterward... If anything I'd rather use the money to buy a huge fish tank for the house and take all the fish home that night LoL

I was just wondering if I should stop even suggesting this... Or is it something that could be fun?

it sounds weird but you can actually rent fake centerpieces...Shawns cousin did that for his wedding and you couldnt tell that they were fake just by looking at it, plus by the time everyone starts paying attention to them they will be half in the bag anyway no one will realize!!!

(and btw...live fish + drunk guests = some interesting things to clean up at the end of the night...)

They can definitely be taken home at the end of the night.... I would hope that no matter how drunk guests get they wouldnt do anything that crazy LoL.... As long as they are no where near the dance floor they can spill water all over I dont care LoL...

i think you have a good idea w/ creating your own cp that makes it summer, maybe not live fish, but maybe you can fill a glass bowl or bucket w/ sand and put some candles in there, and toss in some sand dollars/starfish and sprinkle rose petals around the glass bowl... something like that may look nice and will cost a lot less than a floral centerpiece. i know what you mean though, for something thats gonna die the next day it kills me to be spending so much $ on it!

i agree you can totally do something in a glass bowl that goes with ur beach theme and will save a ton of money.....def not a fan of live fish though sorry!
