CP question

I am getting low centerpieces in a clear rectangular vase, when i went to see my sample we had decided on adding branches in the bottom of the vase to hide the stems. Now im not so sure if I like them or not....what do you girls think?

ETA: Pics too big...they are in my album
Thanks ladies!!

I think the branches give it a rustic feel..... what's throwing me off is the how the bouquet is very soft, and elegant... the branches don't seem to actually go with it. But.. I'm as simple as the day is long and don't go 'outside the box.' I LOVE LOVE the flowers!!!!! And I don't think you should hide the stems... that will give it a more natural look if you leave them as is..... you know?

I think they may be too dark...the CP's are so light and airy I feel like the branches don't quite 'go'. Does that make sense?

I don't think you need them or anything really to cover the stems.

There's a green leaf i forgot the name of it that florists use to wrap the base of a glass vase maybe you can have your florist do something like that for you.

I don't know if this is your style but instead of branches, if you want to cover the stems, why not fill the vase with beads that look like crystals or really nice purple ones..It will really give that bling effect.

Or you can wrap the vase in a thick ribbon that matches your colors...it only has to go around once

I like both of those ideas...I will talk to my florist and see what she thinks...the ribbon may be a little softer with those flowers
Thanks!

I was just going to suggest something like that!

I like the branches but I think it takes away from the flowers. I have seen what looks like grass blades that wrap around the vase to hide the stems. I am searching for a pic. If I find one I will post it.

Yea im thinking the branches dont go either but the thick ribbon around the vase is a good idea!

Re: CP question

Something like this but they can make it so that the entire bottom is covered with it
