Crafts as Christmas gifts?

Hi everyone!
Because money is practically non-existent for Christmas presents this year - I was thinking of doing crafty gifts instead of the usual shopping mall gifts we notrmally get for everyone. I basically have 7 people I'm going to do this for and so far I've come up with either baking treats or arranging pretty floral pieces. I've done a lot of crafting this year for parties and weddings, and I really enjoy it, and have received a lot of compliments on my finished products. I'm hoping this will be a nice way to still give gifts but not go broke at the same time! For the baking treats, I wanted to make a gift basket combo of homemade brownies ( I have a GREAT peppermint Patty brownie recipe that everyone LOVES!) and some chocolate covered strawberries. i want to do this for my friends and my family members will each get a pretty floral arrangement. Does this sound liek a nice idea? Also, has anyone else done this for gifts, and if so - what did you make? Thanks for the feedback!!!

I've never personally done this...but it sounds like a great idea. And if you have any extra peppermint patty brownies send them my way!!!!!!!!

I am crocheting some scarves and afgan's for friends for Christmas this year. I am also making some beaded ornaments & filling small stockings with candy for people at work.
