crafty girls - please help

crafty girls - please help

One of my friends is having a small wedding, and to keep it inexpensive, has bought these zen candle centerpieces from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. But, it turns out they're kinda small. She really can't change her mind now, but do you have any ideas on how to make it look nicer and bigger. I looked for a picture of it and can't find it, but it's in earth colors, is square and has 3 pillar candles of different sizes.

put rose petals all over the table and votive holers with candles in them?? spread them out.
Or add these to the table

Is it something like this with pillar candles inside?? I am just trying to get a picture in my head. If it is something like this with the pillars inside, I think adding like two or three votives on each side and some scattered rose petals would spice it up a bit. Or even getting some of the rock things that are in this pic and putting them on the sides with some rose petals would be different and pretty.

I have seen the candles...How about some rocks( the zen type ones ..if there is such a thing) around them?? I think that would look cool! Or how about putting them on a Bamboo mat? I got bamboo place mats that I use on my end tables for $2.99 at Pier One..

OK I tried going to the BB&B website to find out what it looks like and nothing. How about this? hot glue the candles to a large smooth flat stone and scatter sand in between the candles.

I like the bamboo and zen rocks idea too!

I say smooth rocks, sand or a bamboo mat. Maybe even some pieces of fresh bamboo or a single orchid.

Thanks for the help. The size of the piece is like the one you posted for me, but there's no sand. Just the 3 pillars and rocks.

I would take four or more small glass dishes, fill them with water dyed with food dye to match the color scheme and float floating candles in them.....that should make the arrangement look larger and not for a lot of $ either.
