Anyone use Craig's List to find your vendors? Good experiences or bad? Thanks!

Re: Craig's List
i did a post about a month ago for an amateur photographer/student was willing to pay $100 for the four hour reception (digital so I didn't have to pay for film) and we got a huge response. We also have been using it to find furniture for our new apartment

Found two vendors and I am very happy with them. Can't say what the final outcome will be until my wedding, but I do feel very confident with them.

Re: Craig's List
I think like anything it's hit or miss. it doens't have the ranking system like ebay, but if you order things in advance and can meet with your vendor in person, I don't see why not. My friend found an AWESOME apartment on CL!
I actually have an ad up on craigslist for my chocolate favors :0)
