Cranberry Bead wreath?

Cranberry Bead wreath?

Hi -

Has anyone made this before? I'm not crafty at all but this seems like something even I can do. I thought I would start a tradition of trying to craft something each year.

Also what did it cost approx? Do I go to an actual bead store (like the ones off 6th Ave) or can I get all the supplies at Michaels or order off the internet?

Thanks,
Donna

it looks like big beads to me...which you could get at Michaels or any craft store...but I think you would be better off trying to ge them in bulk somewhere

any with wire maybe you could fasten them each to a styrofoam wreath?

that's really pretty!! I might try that too:D

I have no idea what it would cost though - I guess it will depend on how fancy the beads are. I am going to look in Michaels first then see what happens. The pins, ribbon & styrofoam ring won't cost too much.

I totally think it can be done...but the nice beads (that catch the light) are really expensive and you need a lot of beads!

I have seen this done before using painted wooded beads. I think that 'glass' bead would make it really heavy.

Check out Michaels..I am sure they have many different beads to choose from!

after you are done,...please post a picture of it!!

Yabbobay - thanks for posting those bead places, not all of them carry the right colored beads. I attached the directions in case anyone else is interested.
I think this project is going to cost about $75, a little to high for me right now. I may check prices in the bead stores in the city.

here are the directions -
