crap 17 days left...

I feel exactly the same way you do. Everyone has been asking me if I am excited and I just feel numb to the whole thing. What do you have left to do?

don't worry.. it's the stress of everything. When the day comes you will be excited!!!!! But i totally understand how you feel!!! I was dealing with so much BS that at some point i was like ya know wat.. i just want it to be done. But as i relaxed and it got closer i got more happy about it. And now that it's over and the day was such a blurr... i would do anything to be able to have me and DH do it again!!!

Numb is the word, that is definitely it. I have to put the CP's together. I am still waiting for people to RSVP, so I need to figure out if I need to buy more favors or not. I still need to do one more trial with my hair lady b/c I want to change what she did originally.

That is pretty much it, I guess I am just tired of having to call everyone lol I completely understand how some girls can go crazy during the wedding planning. It just gets so redundant having to call people and make sure they are on top of what they are supposed to do. I hate having all of this time to second guess everything I have done.

What else do you have left to do?

I am still missing a few RSVP's at the moment but I just giving up on those people and marking them as a 'No'. You can only make so many phone calls...

We got word that our katubah was finally ready ( we must have gone back and forth with the vendor 4 times) so I just need to pick that up.

I started working on my seating chart , just need to get it finalized and have place cards made up.

I have confirmed my times for hair and make-up ( glad I got that out of the way early)

Still waiting on my cardbox from the Modern Bride. Need to follow up with them again.

I need to go to my 2nd fitting Thursday.

I am so happy that my 2nd B-Party is this weekend in Florida. I could use the time off from wedding planning.

My family from overseas have already started to pour in. Let the fun begin...

You know what? That's just what happens. When you've been waiting forever for something to come, by the time it's right around the corner, the excitement seems to just dwindle. I sometimes get like that. But once things start happening - like the RD and then the morning of, when you begin getting your hair & makeup done, I'm sure the excitement is gonna be right back.

wow, I guess I was early when I did my dress stuff lol I already did my second fitting haha I am done, Just have to pick it up. My FMIL still needs to pick up her dress, and I am dreading it, b/c she will find SOMETHING to complain about I am sure of it.

I still have some RSVP's coming in, and none from some of my BP yet. But I would like to know if they are coming with a guest or not. Oh well.

I agree about not calling anyone anymore. I sort of got bitched out by one of my BM's b/c I told her the RD info. I guess she is having a bad day, but she said something that made me want to burst into tears at work :( I know she didn't mean it..but it just hurt I suppose.

I know once the day is here and everything else is out of my 'control' it will all be fine. I am mostly stressed about my FMIL causing problems for me, that is my biggest issue right now. I can almost guarantee you that there will be some sort of argument/tiff at the wedding that starts with her. :)

we have to get our marriage license

we have to get picture frames and do table #'s

we have to meet with the DJ

there is SO much for us to do and i dont feel like doing ANY of it

if youre going to LI tonight, on the way back home stop at fortunoff, its not far and get a unity candle. Theres also an old Navy right next to it and you can buy a hoodie there and get it personalized elsewhere. This way you knock some things off your list. Maybe you'll even find earrings at fortunoff's.

Good Luck with everything. I have made so many To Do lists at this point that I may have actually lost track of what is REALLY left. I am also not going to be around all weekend so now it's a mad rush to get everything done before I leave.

- I got an email today from the Modern Bride that my cardbox will be done Friday ( whew, was worried about that)

- My mom arranged with a jeweler friend that I can borrow some earrings for my wedding so I get to go and pick them out today

-FH is finally getting measured for his tux Friday

- We are meeting the band later today to finalize our song list ( fingers crossed as they ave changed venues and times twice already)

- Need to finalize ceremony with rabbi

All I can think of for now. I just need to be on a beach sipping margarita's...

you reminded me I have to ask about my cardbox they haven't emailed me yet....

denise good idea - maybe we'll have time after our meeting - if not i have to get those things on thursday when i go shopping for my friday night outfit hahahaha
