So I go home last night and fh said so you want to hear the bad news and I was like ok....Turns out the preist that WE LOVE has been transfered to another parish. Being that he was performing our mass we have to meet with another priest. This could be bad very bad

its funny you mention that, the priest at my church is leaving and a new one will be coming in july...Its still early but the priest put our date in the book and said he would speak to the new priest...it makes me nervous because i want to get married there and i dont have many other options...

sometimes you can bring in a priest from another church. maybe he will still do it.

aww your getting married the day after me! good luck with the priest.. im sure it'll work out

that happened to us too!!
all the good priests are getting taken away.

we wont even have a full time priest here untill after July so we have no idea who's gonna marry us now.

LOL im getting married in a russian orthodox church so I DIDNT DO IT! apparently there are movements within parishes during the summer months...maybe because during lent it is so busy and they cant make these changes then....

yeah, i think some churches let u do this...doesn't hurt to ask. we're having a priest from fh's parish that doesn't do weddings anymore but he's doing ours

My mom had also mentioned having him come back for the mass. I just cant believe that crap and I am sorry that a few of you girls had to go through this as well. Lets hope for the best! Thanks for all your good wishes
