What do you think of this song for our first dance?

Edited to ask, is it too racy w/ the hike up your skirt part?

I personally don't think it's an appropriate wedding song, though I do love the song. It brings back lots of memories...BUT, you should go with what ever you feel is best...If you want it, then go with it!

LOVE IT!! I was going to use it for my wedding...except I went with the song my new husband chose instead. BUT..we are using it in the wedding video. I love that song. I say definitely use it!!!

Maybe you can fade out the song a little early before the hike up your skirt part.

I LOVE IT!!!! I actually went to a wedding in Bear Mountain and it was their song!

It is a good song and hopefully the grandmas wont be able to figure out what it really means.....

We used a DMB song for our first dance.....I'll Back you Up.
Not everyone was familiar with it, so there were some confused looks int he crowd, but the DMB fans LOVED it

This is one of my all time favorite songs, so I am biased .. (Love Dave Matthews )

While this is not exactly your typical wedding song, I say go for it .. My theory is whatever YOU want should go!!!

Don't get me wrong... it is one of my all time favorite songs but the words are a little 'risque' and the rhythm is kind of hard to dance to isn't it?

I love that song -- but IMHO it's not appropriate for a first dance song... even without the 'hike up your skirt part'... you might be able to get away with it though if there aren't too many DMB fans that recognize the song though...

we were going to use that for our first dance song as well, it's my FI's favorite DMB song, but we thought it might not be the best one for a first dance, so we are going to use a different song but definitely have it on our must play list, maybe we will dance to it after the cake cutting

I'd stick with more classic songs. don't play anything that is too trendy or that might offend someone.

I love the song but I don't think it's a good wedding song (unless it has meaning to you)- JMO If you wanna use a Dave song I would go for I'll Back you up!

it's a totally dirty song - and one of my favorites.

We are very untraditional and a lil' wild, but I still don't think we would play that song. To me, it's not a love song, it's a gettin' laid song.

But if it speaks to you, go for it...

I am a huge Dave fan, but I am not sure about using it for a wedding song, but that's JMO. It's your wedding, if that's the somg you want, then you should have it!

Thanks everyone! I think we'll choose something else for our first dance, and then just put this on the must play list (thanks for the suggestion!)

My parents are pretty traditional, and I wouldn't want to offend them.
