Hi ladies... i'm an '08 bride and I have a question that I would love to be answered by some of you that have been through the part of your life that I am about to go through!!
I was wondering-- did anyone not want to have children-- that now does or has children? I know that my reasons are selfish for not wanting kids (dont want to share my FH, want to be able to sleep in, have time to myself, I just dont really want to be a mom!) I've been around kids for years- having worked with them-- I just dont see myself wanting to have the permanant responsibility of a family. Everyone keeps telling me that I will change- but how do they know how strong I feel about it now? So- did any of you feel how I feel?? And changed your mind-- I mean- there are times when I think about a baby-- but I DONT want a 10 year old, 15 year old--- It's like wanting a kitten but not a cat!! I know this sounds immature- but I'm looking for some insight- if I'm SURE that I wont want kids for totally selfish reasons-- will I change my mind?!?!
