My friend is searching for a place and she recently checked out Waterview in Bayville. I've never been to the place or heard anything about it. If any of you gals who have had any experience with the place (neg. and pos.) please post or FM me if you feel more comfortable. I looked at it! I didnt end up going with it because it was a little too far from the city for our guests, but it was really beautiful and the banquet manager was soooo great! the service seemed incredible and he even followed up by sending us a note a few days later. I definitely think its a good choice!

I didn't care for the cocktail hour room personally but for a summer or late sring / early fall wedding it would be good since it's right on the water.
I did like the main room, nice chandeliers and ceiling treatment. The food i'm told by my friend is good, she's a bartender there and is kinda dating one of the cooks.

Great to hear nice things, I tried searching for any previous threads on these boards but I only found the fake vendor post lol. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the place (past brides), I heard they changed their name...was it carlton or carlyle something. has anyone been to a wedding there?
