crazy afternoon

So my little 5th graders who made All-County were supposed to have rehearsal today. . .only to find out at 2:30 pm that it was CANCELLED--an hour before they were supposed to get on the bus to rehearsal. I KNEW BEFORE MY BOSS KNEW that it was cancelled--I was the one that told HIM. So, I'm still a bit frazzled by all of the running around, calling a few Oceanside teachers before the school day ended, finding all of the kids and telling them to call home. . .thank GOD for LIW after times like that!!!!
