Crazy Family Wedding Traditions
Ok I thought it would be fun to find out what kind of family wedding traditions you have, my family has a statue of The infant of Prauge to put outside the church to prevent rain! My great grandmother brought it from Ireland and swears it works!

I am sure someone in your family will find a way to carry on or maybe you will come up with a tradition to honor her, I have friend and her mother passed away, her father gave her a locket to wear on her wedding day with a picture of them at her first communion. She plans on passing that on to her daughter.

my FH's family is super irish, and his mother and her 8 siblings all told me about this tradition where you put a silver sixpence in your shoe to make sure that you will never be without money. Also, all of my FH's cousins' christening hats were actually handkerchiefs that were sewn into hats. according to the tradition, the groom's hat from his christening is given to the bride to use to wipe away her tears of happiness.

I love the handkerchief tradition!! I wish my FMIL did something like that.
