Crazy groomsman...LOOOONG

OKay, so the guy that introduced us, Mike, is one of the GM's. Since fh's dad is the BM he won't be planning the b-party. SO Mike will be planning the b-pary. They decided that FH wanted to go home to TN have it with his friends. Mike was gunna go and maybe bring some of thier NY aquantences (sp). Fh doesn't have too many close male friends in NY. He has only been here 2 1/2 years and has been dating me for 2 of them. ....

So Mike leaves me a message and says, ' I need Stephen's friends numbers in TN. I am going to tell you what the b-party is, not that you have any right to know... but.... we are gunna suprise him with a trip to TN (ummm he already knows about it...) We are gunna show up to your house one night in all black with ski masks on.. tackle him, bound him, gag him and throw him the car. We are not going to speak until we are half way to the airport and the music will be really loud. About half way there we will start saying things so he knows it's us!!!!!!! He is not even allowed to have a toothbrush packed...don't tell anyone and I will never speak to you again if you ruin this!!!!!!... don't worry we won't have strippers or prostitutes or anything juvinille like that'


OKAY BUT WHAT THE FECK!!!! He doesn't know all the people that are doing this very well.. what if he really thinks he is being kidnapped and fights back, gets hurt or worse stabs someone????? He also has high cholesterol and heart disease in his family... What if he has a heart attack... ok so that prob won't happen... BUT THIS DOES NOT SOUND FUNNY! It sounds scary. I know FH and he would not like this. I am all for surprising him... walk into the house and say.. surprise it's your b-party. You can even blindfold him and put him in the car and take it off when you get to the airport... But bound and gag... in ski masks... NOPE SORRY!!!!

So I call Mike and he goes... no it's funny.. don't blab.. if you do, I won't plan the b-party.

I don't know what to do.. They are NOT doing this to FH. I will call his friends in TN who I know will hate this idea and have them plan something... Or I will plan something.. Not cool..also FH wants strippers and I don't care!! I will hire him one. i think this plot is more juvinille than strippers.. Am I being crazy????

Alright, I may be in the minority here but I've got to be honest. WHAT THE FECK? No, I have to tell you, I would tell my FH. Just let him know that they plan on kidnapping him, you don't have to ruin 'the surprise' that he already knows about about TN but let him know his ridiculous friends thought it would be fun to kidnap him, blindfold him, etc. so that he's not freaking out when it actually happens. You don't have to tell his friend you told him if your FH can pull off his surprise (without hyperventilating.) I'm sorry, I'm with you. My FH would take a bat to their heads (we watch too much Court TV)

OMG my mouth just dropped open!! MY FI is in the same boat but they wanna take him to WI. He would be so angry if his close NY friends did that to him!! I would def. tell your FI - especially since he knows about the trip and you wont be 'ruining the surprise!' I totally agree with you!

He knows about the trip but they plan on making it a different weekend and totally suprising him.. I am just scard that he will really think he is being kidnapped.. Which is what they are hoping for...God only knows what will happen.. he could go bezerk.

I read this and thought it was INSANE....

Then I told FH to come read it and he was like 'that is an awesome idea, I wish I thought of that for my brother's bachelor party!'

FH came back right after I finished typing and said 'well maybe it's not such a great idea...what if there are weapons in the house...I mean if a bunch of guys broke into our place I would try to fight them off...'

I asked Frank and he said that if that happened to him, he'd seriously shoot them, seriously. Stephen will totally freak out, Daisy will go nuts... WHAT IS WRONG WITH MIKE!???!!! I'm going to hit him I think.

Trish - we need to intervene here. Stephen is my best guy friend and I won't allow this!! I am soooo fired up right now! I am more mad than when I first heard about it.
