So I had a thought last night (always dangerous) and thought of a good favor idea. I dont know how i would pull it off though and wanted your opinion.
My dad and my FH make homemade wine last year and they will make it again this year. My dad has been making it forever but last year he thought it would be special for FH to help because he loves wine. So they did it and it came out great. I was thinking of giving out little bottles of homemade wine and we would make the labels. Does that sound good? Where would I find these little empty wine bottles?
i think its a great idea- and then you can even get custom made stick on labels- with like your pic on it or your names and a story of how the wine is homemade- i think it'll come out really cute.

Our friends love to brew their own beer so for their wedding, they brewed bottles of beer as favors.

I like that idea. i love it when a couple does something that expresses THEM as a couple, rather than just a little bag of candy or whatever. I'm still trying to think of something I can do for my guests other than the obvious 'ornament favor' since it's a Christmas Wedding.

Your not crazy! My sister did this for her wedding 2 years ago, and everyone loved it! Her FIL made homemade wine that was delicious. They got little wine bottles and made lables in their colors with their names and date. They also gave a hand painted bride and groom bottle stopper with it!

I had a friend that did this 2 years ago. Her brother made the wine and they gave out full size bottles (1 per couple) and 2 wine glasses that had ribbon them with her wedding colors. They set the glasses up around the candle centerpieces on the tables. The wine was really good and everyone loved the fact that her brother made it.

I know someone who did this and it was amazing!!! They had a wine theme and they had gum paste (realistic looking) grapes on the cake. Sooo cute
