Hey! Our reception hall recommends Create-A-Cake or Rolling Pin to make our wedding cake. So, of the two, does anyone have a preference?
TIA!

Rolling Pin is pretty good. I like La Bonne Boulangerie better though.

My hall uses Create-A-Cake. I've had they're cakes a few times....never had any complaints....but majority says they stink.

I've heard create-a-cake doesnt make the nicest looking cakes, however their red velvet is the best I ever had

We have the same options and we are going with the Rolling Pin. Haven't heard great things about Create-A-Cake

Try both bakeries at the SLCC showcase in November - you're going, right???? Last showcase, they were both there - I'm going with Rolling Pin - Dave or David, I think his name was - is the owner and was so sweet. CAC seemed snooty, didn't wanto to talk to me - but RP cake (the samples I tasted, anyway) was delish! CAC also brought other pastries, I think to take attention away from their wedding cake. It wasn't anything to write home about. RP, on the other hand, had JUST their cake - and believe me, it can stand alone - it was yummy!

Hey you! Yep - I'll be at the Showcase! I spoke to David today actually and he was very nice. I think we might go try to see him on Saturday. Good to know about RP! Thanks again!
