Creating a different program

I am trying to come up with a different way to write my program.. We are having an interfaith ceremony with a rabbi and priest, I would like to include the traditional information plus a brief explanation of the religious traditions that we are including in the ceremony. Any suggestions??

a friend of mine had a traditional Jewish wedding and they explained the Jewish traditions on the 2nd page...then put the ceremony and BP infor on the 3rd page...


We had an 8 page program...we used the 2nd and 3rd page for ceremony and BP...then 4th and 5th we had 'blurbs' about the BP...6th was the special meaning for the day we chose (July 14 is Bastille Day in honor of DH's late father - who was from France) and the 7th page was special thanks and in memory of

A friend of mine had an iterfaith ceremony last 10/7. She explained some of the different traditions, both Jewish and Catholic in her program. I thought it was great. It was nice to know the meanings and traditions of the different things that were happening. I think that is a wonderful idea.

She included ... the bridal canopy or Huppah, the wedding rings, the lighting of the unity candle, the sharing of wine, and the breaking of the glass. She also had a really nice prayer that touched upon interfaith marriages. If you would like that, forum mail me with your e-mail and I will send it to you. It's kind of long, but really beautiful.
