Creative Brides...

I am having a brunch the day after my wedding and I am trying to make it special. It is going to be at a hotel and I got nice topiary centerpieces, etc. I LOVE giving out favors and I wanted to give out a little something at the brunch (I know it's stupid.) I can't think of anything! Does anyone have any ideas???

Re: Creative Brides...

What if you buy little picture frames now and that night who ever will be at brunch the next day get someone to take polorid pics of. Then the next morning you can stick the pics of you and your hubby with that guest in a frame

Re: Creative Brides...

ok-- i think it is unnecessary to give out a favor and spend even more money, but I am gettin these cute invites for our brunch, so we all have our vices-- but.. and I am thinking cost-effective here.. Is the brunch on a sunday? What about the sunday paper, and you can get a customized ribbon with your names and the weekend date.. Like Jon and Mary's Wedding Weekend, June 2005.. Wrap the ribbon around the paper-- insteand of the rubber band that comes with the Times, or the plastic bag on Newsday-- makes a cute little package.. you can put them in a basket or something by the door, and people can take them as they leave. Have someone close to you help you with it that morning.. You can also usually buy the early edition of the Sun paper the night before.

Re: Creative Brides...

I was thinking about buying favors for the brunch, only if there's $ left over - probably not likely though. My idea is to do personalized coffee packets. I couldn't think of anything else that's brunch related, but I like Randi's idea of the newspaper.
