Creative brides.....

I need help with this idea I had.... I bought my BM's a really nice purse for their gift, and I plan on stuffing it with little things, such as tissues, nail file, aspirin, mints, gum, etc...... What I want to do it put a little note in there with something on it like:
Thank you for everything, blah blah blah.... and then I want to write a cute and creative line about each thing in the bag to tie it into the wedding or our friendship. Unfortunately, I am not creative.... I need suggestions, both for what else to put in, and what I could say about each!

Thanks all!!!!!

No clue about the line about friendship but as for what to include:

blotting paper (for shiny faces)
a good lipstick
lip liner
silver compact
altoids in love tin
clear nail polish

Tissues for you since you have wiped away many of mine...
Lipstick is like a good friend, very hard to find but easy to keep...

Hmmmm...still thinking

oooh! good start!

keep the ideas coming ladies!

My Bridesmaid

On the day that I marry
this wonderful man,
please carry THESE TISSUES
in your hand.

This token of friendship
from my heart to you,
is to thank you for being there
when I say 'I do.'

It's meant so much to have you near,
so many things have changed this year,
but the one thing on which
I could always depend,
was an open ear from you my friend.

If there are tears on my wedding day,
THESE TISSUES will gently wipe them away.
Thank you for all the support that you lend,
but mostly I thank you for being my friend.

for the bubbles

Use me to blow wishes,
as the bride and groom away,
Keep me as a token,
of this fun and special day!

To fill the air with an aura of romance
Please blow these bubbles while we have our first dance.
Be a part of our first dance in a special way
Please blow these bubbles while our favorite song plays.

Rice may be tradition
But bubbles are more fun
To wish the newlyweds well
As their new life has begun!

'Blow bubbles of good wishes
for the New Mr. and Mrs.'

Blown away on our Joyous Day

I guess I am responding to myself.... but what do you guys think of these so far. Some of them definitely need a little work!

Advil-for all those headaches I have caused you during the planning
Bandaid-for patching up my problems like a pro
Clear polish-for all the running around you have done for this wedding!
Hair Elastic-for your flexibility through this time
Lifesaver-for saving me from a nervous breakdown!
Nail file-------???
Stick of Gum-for sticking with me through all this planning
Tissues-to dry your tears, as you have helped to dry mine
Tums-for all those times you heard me bellyaching about one thing or another

ok guys... HELP!!!!!

I like them!

How about the nail file to smooth out those rough edges like you have calmed my nerves?

I like the gum one, not sure I get the clear polish one though, are you talking about clear nail polish?

That is great I found some more poem s you could attach to that here they are (I love this stuff, it is so personable)

To my Bridesmaid
Your friendship is a gift from God.
Today I count my blessings as a joyful bride
for I am truly thankful to have you by my side.
Because there are so many ways that you show you care
and just as many special times together we have shared.
Your laughter, tears and thoughtfulness make it so easy to see,
your friendship is one of the greatest gifts God has given me

To my Bridesmaid,, and special friend
You've shared with me the special times, our friendship grows each day;
we've shared our secrets and our dreams, and laughed along the way.
And now at this most special time as my marriage and new life begin;
I'm glad to have you by my side, and thankful to have you as my friend.

To my Bridesmaid, my friend...
I'll always fondly remember the special times we've shared.
You've laughed with me, you've cried with me, and always shown you care.
So at this very special time, the day I am a bride,
I thank you for your friendship and for standing by my side

stacedz
yeah, i suppose that was a bit of a stretch... clear nail polish for the 'running'--like pantyhose running... ok, i'll lose that one!
