im considering booking creative comp...... they are a little pricey-but thier presentation sold me.
anyone have comments

I was not very impressed compared to other photography studios as far as their style. Also, I felt they were expensive and did not offer alot in their packages. The quality of their photos are very good, on a more positive note.

they gave me a quote of $7250 for a pretty standard package that many other photogs that did just as nice and nicer work but were 2K and 3K lower.

Jenny- who did you book or are your booking... ernie or steve. I am using them also... I thought their style was great if you love traditional shots- which is very important to me.... great custmer service and they get style, romantic and traditional shots... I am not paying nearly what others are paying for a large package and they threw in extra!!!

I visited about nine places during my search, and in my opinion, no one compared. Considering some of the recent posts regarding other well-known photographers, I was glad to work with a company that has treated me well all along the way. My photographs were breathtaking (sorry I don't have a scanner), and they were well worth every penny! Let me know if you have any detailed questions, I would be happy to help -- and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who can afford them!

I looked at them and liked them but I wound up going with Jovon. They have similar styles but I think Jovon's prices were better and I liked that they did photo AND video. You should just check them out to compare.

Have you looked at Mark Kauffman yet? He is similar in style to CC but I liked that you were able to pick your photographers. CC is a husband/wife team only. What is one of them is sick or have a family emergency? Who subs for them?
I am sooo glad I spent the money I did on my photos. I don't have one regret about that.

michele31 - Perhaps you are thinking of Imagine? Creative Compositions is not a husband/wife team. The owners are two amazing photographers named Steve and Ernie. They have at least three other photographers in the studio with them.

Anyhow, Mark Kauffman is certainly worth considering. I looked at them as well before chosing Creative Compositions. The main difference is that CC focuses more on formal portraits, while MK is more candid/casual...
