My best friend just bought a house in Delaware and I am throwing her a 'housewarming/going away party' I am looking for different gifts to give her.. maybe a bunch of different items in a gift baskets (candles, apron, etc)
Any good ideas??

You could do a basket of holiday decorations. especially now with halloween, thanksgiving and christmas right around the corner you can get alot of great stuff! And if you go online you can generally get some other items for other holidays as well! Try Terrysvillage.com, currentcatalog.com.

Maybe make a little basket of gift cards of stores that will be in her area like Target or supermarket a home depot resturants and put in it fillers like oven mitts, soaps etc. Just an idea I know I would love and easy to move.

a baskets full of kitchen gadgets like spatulas and a garlic press,funnels ,shrimp deveiner,bottler opener ice cream scoop. wooden spoons and a gift card for the super market closest to them.
someone gave me a bonsai plant that i loved
also received a great pitcher and glass set Home depot gift cards target cards picture frames

For my shower my aunts put together gift bags for each holiday. It was the best idea.
For example: for christmas I got a red giftbag with candles, kitchen towels, ornaments
4th of july - blue bag with flags, outside candles, and some BBQ stuff
