So I have some debt- not tooo much- but enough on my credit cards. im able to pay a lot over the minimum each month, but Im still getting hit with interest. Anyone know if I can go to my bank and get it consolodated? Anyone know much about how this works?

Consolidate on your own!
If its not too much., I would search for a credit card with a no interest balance transfer., and zero interest rate., some are offered for 6-12 months.
Transfer your balances to this credit card., save enough money to pay them back within the time they give you.

If its not too much., I would search for a credit card with a no interest balance transfer., and zero interest rate., some are offered for 6-12 months.
Transfer your balances to this credit card., save enough money to pay them back within the time they give you.
This is how I ended up with 5 credit cards! None of them would give me more than $2000 credit and then I would have to reswitch the debt over. The card I use as my main card has a high credit amount, but the interest is soooo much money! I need a card with a low interest rate but like a $10,000 balance and thats the only card I would need.

you should try to get an american express card. the blue ones were great when I had them. they gave a nice high limit with a great apr.
except I charged a little to much, then the apr went up eventually. and now i'm in total debt. credit cards are evil. lol. just don't get a lot of them! try to keep all the money on just one.

most offer 12months! And some offer a balance transfer with a low apr until you pay the balance off. What I did when I had some CC debt was take out a 12 motnh 0% apr.. transferred the balance, and then cut the card up. I made SURE to pay a certain amount per month... but most CC companies will offer you low aprs for transfers. Just make sure when you use them, DONT purchase anything on that card b/c they charge you finance charges to the higher apr first.

i just read recently that you can call you cc company and 98% of the people that requested a lower intrest rate that have made payments on time in the last year, recieved there request.. Good luck!
