My wedding plans did not work out as I expected....we called the wedding off. I now have a $5,000.00 credit to the Westbury manor which I would love to get rid of. I am willing to sell it for $3,500.00. The only catch is that you can't have the hall booked already. You have to tell them about the credit the day that you sign the contract with them ....... Any takers??

it depends on what you negotiate ......i think it between $85.00 and $135.00 a head.

I know......I practically begged the guy to let someone who already had their wedding planned there to use it, but they would not go for it. It has to be 'new business'. :( You know, maybe you can ask them......... if they went for it i would give it to you for $3,000.00

sorry it didnt work out for you!!! maybe you should change the title of your post to 'open wedding date' or something similar so that girls who have yet to book a reception hall, will click on the thread. i'll also try to keep bumping this thread for you.

you may want to do craigslist also....somebody did this with huntington town house... not sure how it worked out but its a good deal.
