crescent beach club I loved the place, any feedback to help me

I went to a wedding there back in August. The place was beautiful! the food and service was awsome. My girlfriend had a Calypso band playing during the CH. The room she had was upstairs with a balcony looking down over the beach. The view was beautiful.........and for some reason that night their were fireworks going off accross the sound so everbody went oustide to watch the fireworks!

I am getting matties there and I love the place! Rye playland has fire works in the summer and you can see them i just dont know what days they have them. Planning has been very easy. I am dealing with Denise and she is so good with getting back to me. If you have any questions just FM me

I'm also dealing with Denise - she's been great so far. They can be surprisingly affordable if you're flexible in your date - so try to work with them. They were also flexible with me in my pricing and payment terms. After I met with them, I knew they were the place for me.

Just FYI - since my date is before Mother's Day, my rates are about 35-40% lower than the high-season rate. So....I still get to have a spring/summer wedding on the water, at a price I can afford!

Hi there - i am kind of new to this site; If you don't mind my asking - what price did they quote you at the crescent - b/c i have reserved 4/29/06 (sat) afternoon 12 - 5p.m. for 200 ppl and i have to say that i am not completely comfortable with the price; and they did not seem to want to work with me; i'd really appreciate any help or advice

Denise is great. She has given me so much help already. Any question I have she gets right back to me. I have heard so many great things about the crescent so I am confident that it is going to be perfect.

One of my closest friends is getting married there and I'm actually the one that recommended the place to her!! IT IS BEAUTIFUL THERE. Food and service are supposed to be amazing as well.
I can't wait for her wedding in just over 2 months.

I am getting married there on July 3, 2006. We are working with Bill and he has been fantastic!!! Planning has been going very smoothly, the vendors we are using are very familiar with the Crescent. FH and I have been to the Pine Island Grill many times and the food has always been wonderful! I am so excited that they are so accomdating about personalizing the wedding for you, and I like the idea of creating your own menu. I also like being the only bride!!

As for Fireworks, we booked bayville firworks to put on a seven minute show and the band will coordinate the music. I can't say enough about the Crescent. We went to many (And I mean MANY) halls and this was the only one we loved!

We are going to the Crescent, Pine Island Grill Thursday night for dinner to celebrate our one year pre-annivesary! Bringing our parents and MOH and Best Man. VERY EXCITED!

We did that too. It is actually a great idea because you can see exactly when the sun is setting. It is a good preview for your wedding day.

I LOVE IT THERE! One of my best friends is getting married there next month and I was the one that had suggested that place to her... It's absolutely gorgeous... I will FM you a review after her wedding next month if you want. She's had no problems with the service so far!

I was thinking of using this one because I'm having a small wedding (aprox. 60 to 70 people) but now I'm WORRIED is it too big???????

I don't know anyone who has used the downstairs. I think it could be nice. It's a really pretty room. My only question would be were would you have the cocktail hour? What if it rains? Could you have it upstairs in the lounge?

Went to Crescent last night for dinner. Took our parents to see the place. It was an excellent night. Food was awesome. I just hope it is a little warmer next May :)

Are they willing to negotiate the $$ if they rearrange the menu selections? I'm trying to find another way to cut costs, besides my changin my date to a Sunday...Thanks!
