I am about to put a deposit at the Crescent Beach club for June 2003. Any positive or negative comments are helpful. Do you think there would be a problem with bugs for the outdoor cocktail hour? How is the food, service? Thanks!

You should do a search on them. There were some negative comments posted a little while back about the place but I worked with someone who got married there last June and had no problems.
in regards to the bugs...I hear tulle dresses catch bugs...just a thought
Id do a search CBC has been mentioned...it looks gorgeous to me...

I went to a June wedding there last year with an outside ceremony and cocktail hour. I did see a bee near the bridesmaid flowers but it really wasn't an issue. It was a muggy day in the morning too and the ceremony was at 11 or so. It is a really beautiful place and the view is amazing. There was a very demanding woman (a sort of maitre d) that annoyed the bridal party and even some of the guests but other than that the service seemed very good. I remember the food was good, nothing spectacular. Which is basically the same everywhere if you think about it, honestly no one will remember the food for the most part unless something was horrible.

Just a thought, i have been there for lunch and ist is very nice but if it rains you do not have any of the outdoors which is the main reason the place is nice, the room is pretty basic in the basement just be sure plan B is ok for you
