Re: crescent beach club
I visited the Crescent Beach Club when I was making my decision. I thought it was absolutely beautiful. In the end, I would have chosen the Crescent Beach Club if someone could guarantee I'd have great weather on my wedding day! I think you made a very good choice, what a romantic setting -- your guests will love it!

Re: crescent beach club
I am getting married there as well. I have only heard wonderful things from people until I saw a couple of posts on here as well. I know 3 people who have been to weddings there and they said they were fabulous, not only the setting but the food and service as well. I am not worried about my desicion, I know it will be beautiful.

Re: crescent beach club
I actually had booked at the crescent beach club at first. I loved it, but I am getting married in april. Plus I would be getting married there, so I thought the weather might be against me. Also I didnt like how the ceremony would be in the cocktail hour room. But for a summer wedding I think it is great! Best of luck.

Re: crescent beach club
I went to a wedding there and it was absolutely beautiful. The food and service was terrific. I will share this however, the night was so beautiful that many of the guests hung out outside...walking on the beach, sitting on the patio, etc. The room always looked half empty. You may want to consider having the glass door blocked or locked. But don't worry about the place...its gorgeous.

Re: crescent beach club- HOW MUCH?
About how much can I expect to pay at the Crescent? The old posts say it's very expensive and not worth it. I want to check it out this weekend.
last year when I was looking they quoted me sat night for $180 pp...not sure if it is different for different days?

Re: crescent beach club- HOW MUCH?
I met with a manager there when we first starting looking over a year ago - I believe the price is based on the size of your guest list, rather than a flat price pp. Since I'm having a smaller wedding (130 or so) they wanted to charge me around $180-190 for a Sat night in October. Also, as someone else mentioned, I was afraid my smaller group would get lost among the balconies and different rooms of the hall.

Re: crescent beach club- HOW MUCH?
My brother got married at the Crescent Beach Club, The place is gorgeous and the beach setting is amazing but the food and service was horrible. Bill the manager had promised us many things that were not there. I know my brother had a big argument the night of his wedding with the manager because what they ordered was wrong, the seafood stations in the cocktial hour was not replinished, The sushi station was horrible and not fresh, He paid for baby lamp chops for passings and never got them. Bills resolution to all the mishaps was a free overtime which costs my brother two thosand dollars for the band to stay. We needed some Kosher meals which he told us he would order for us, they never arrived and my brothers boss and a few co-workers never had dinner. Dont be mistaken for the looks of the place be very careful, I think they paid about $175.00 a plate for a sunday in May.
