Crescent Beach Club or Bridgeview Yacht Club or Lands End
I am finally done at looking at wedding locations and although I thought this would be an easy choice I am in some what of a tie between those three venues.
I really really like crescent beach club but do not know much about them. Does anyone know how their food is? I will take any info!
Same thing with bridgeview , i dont know too many people who have had weddings there-- the place seems a little large for me, we are planning on only having about 160 people!
LAnds end is just gorgeous--
ahh any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

What are you looking for in a reception hall? What are the most important things to you: food, scenery, one wedding at a time, etc....coming up with a list of things that are important/necessary to you may help.
I can tell you that Lands End is a Lovin' Oven venue, and their food and service gets stellar reviews. I am booked at Flowerfield, also owned by Lovin' Oven, and they have been such a pleasure to work with so far!!

My final two were Crescent and Bridgeview!
I went with Bridgeview b/c I love the place! it is sooo pretty and not your cookie cutter hall. The room is so romantic, I plan on having lots of candles!
I have heard amazing things about the food
I am working with Eric and he is the greatest
Let me know if you want more info

Bridgeview is amazing. Food is fantastic too. My brother got married there last year. He had about 175 and it was comfortable.

Crescent Beach club (I believe) is significantly more expensive than Bridgeview. I love the draped ceiling at Bridgeview but the view is not as nice as Crescent which has a real beachy feel. The Bridgeview is a little cramped outside and more like a marina view.
Land's End I'm not sure about.

I think you have to look at the two packages and make a list of what you get at each and weigh that. Then think about what you want... which place gives your heart the same little flutter as your fiance? I was at Crescent last weekend, and it's very nice, and my friends got married at Bridgeview. Here's a few points weighing the two, IMHO: - Though the style of the decor and the places are similar (this is good; you know what you want!), I think Bridgeview is a little more elegant inside (the finishes are a little nicer, it's a lot more spacious, etc) and Crescent has a lot nicer (and more useable) outdoor space (nicer if you plan to have your ceremony on site, and their beach is perfect for photos. The outdoor cocktail hour space is also nice. -They are both a long drive from the highway, so they are equal on that front... where is the ceremony? If it is at a church/ synogogue/ other location, then that could be a consideration. Remember for your guests, it's a party, not a marathon. -Compare the staffing numbers... I went to a huge wedding at Bridgeview, and the food was great, but the waitstaff were spread a little thin. I kept having to fight to be allowed to finish my entree- they were 'clear-happy.' I know the Crescent promises a 1-10 waitstaff to guest ratio; that's important. They also have a Maitre'D, captain, and a bridal attendant, though they suggest tipping the three total $1K.

Sorry, two more things... I agree that Crescent might be a better fit for your size wedding. And ask for a tasting before booking. If they protest, tell them you'd be willing to pay (usually around $200- $250 for venues that do not do pre-contract tastings) as long as if you do book, you get that amount credited to the bill. I would never book a place whose food I was unfamiliar with without a tasting first. You are spending around $20K at these places (for 160 guests), so you should know what you are getting first.

Re: Crescent Beach Club or Bridgeview Yacht Club or Lands End
i looked at crescent beach because i know the manager there, however i decided i didn't want a beach wedding...i've eaten in the pine island grille and my family has been to many events there and the food has always been very good...and they give you a lot for your money, at least when i was quoted it seemed that way....
lands end, my cousin got married there and not only is it beautiful, but the food was the best wedding food i've ever had and my FH used to be in the restaurant business and he agreed...seems like u couldn't go wrong there if it works for you...
don't know about bridgeview yacht club...they seem to give you the normal amounts of food, prices seemed reasonable when i called...i just keep thinking this place used to be a nightclub, and now i'm gonna have my wedding here? i think the scenery is better at crescent beach or lands end and both places are long time reputable for good food...

BRIDGEVIEW!!! We had 125 people and it was perfect! Didn't look sparse at all! And the staff there is phenominal!!! It was the nicest wedding I've been to in forever and no I'm not being biased! Everyone said so! The food is out of this world and like I said before the staff is great! FM me if you need further info!

Those were my top 3 as well. We're having about 150 people so I'm about the same size.
I ended up picking Land's End- I loved the outdoor 'beach' which was missing from Bridgeview. It honestly came down to Crescent and Land's End- I ended up liking the people at Land's End and just felt it was right for me.
If you want some specifics about pricing or other things I have it at home. FM me and I'll get back to you.

If you want to get married on the beach, CBC is an excellent choice. One thing about the North Shore, you get beautiful sunsets………. Your guest will love it!
Re: Crescent Beach Club or Bridgeview Yacht Club or Lands End
I visited all three and chose Land's End. Here are my thoughts. You they are not meant to sway you in any direction, just random things that stuck in my mind.
- Crescent and Land's End are significantly more expensive - Crescent is very beachy and I wasn't a huge fan of the indoor space if it rained - Bridgeview had nice ballroom - Bridgeview does not have enough space for an outdoor cocktail hour - Crescent is great for an after party you can use the bar connected and have a bonfire - Land's End has an amazing outdoor ceremony area - Land's End has an outdoor cocktail hour area - Brideview's ceremony area is close to the road and there is a lumber yard across the street - Land's End has a really ugly ceiling in the ballroom (I had to add in the cost of covering it to my budget) - The dock at the Bridgeview as noisy from passing traffic - The beach at the Crescent is public so people can walk by as they please - Crescent has a modern look - Land's End as a dark wood and a little more hommie of a look
Hope that helps! Good Luck!
