Does this seem high..$93 for sat night in Oct? After doing a search on this site I see so many quotes for so much less but this is the price I was given. This is for 150- 175 people..thanks!

It sounds a little high to me, especially with your high minimums, but I didnt look at any Oct. rates. Does that include anything extra? You could always ask them if they can do any better...
Did you get rates for Fri and Sun too? I think I saw some other people posting just under $80 maybe for Sun. in Oct, so maybe $93 is ok. I would at least try to get more thrown in for that though.

we got quoted $85pp on a saturday in april. im pretty sure u can get them down a lil bit more...

i was given an $85 (or maybe $89) for a sat night in the summer...but was also told by numerous venues that Sept & Oct are now the most requested months and therefore they charge more. It cant hurt to try to get them down a few dollars though

I think 93 is a lil high. we are paying like 80 and then with Viennes 90 . are they throwing anything in with that price? I also herd that sept is the new june so october is the new july. its become very popular and prices are higher. did you ask them dates for other months?

i'm getting married at crest hollow in october 2011. i was quoted pretty much the same price for a saturday night during that month. september and october are very popular months to get married in, which is probably why they are more expensive.

I got quoted $89.50 for Saturday night first week in November so it doesn't seem too high for me. Minimum was 150.

BTW you can TOTALLY get them down from that price though.
Who did you meet with? Our BM is Sharon and we got quoted $76 for Friday night in November and for $86.50 we got like $40 more in extras (VH, expanded CH, wine on tables during dinner, pasta and intermezzo course, etc.)
Just fight with them! Remember, they work for you!

BEFORE SIGNING. I refused to sign until it was all in the contract. And even at that, she tried to keep a couple of things out (but I caught her!). It doesn't mean anything unless it's in the contract.
As for the expanded CH, we got a mashed potato bar, at the pasta station we got two types of sauce (they generally only give you one - and my family is uber italian, and i'm not remembering correctly but I think we got both asian and mexican stations (not sure if that is standard). I think there were a few other little things (maybe one extra chaffing dish or something). We also got 1.5 hours of 'hospitality' before the CH with open bar and like danishes, breads, etc. because 50% of our guest list is OOT and i wanted somewhere for them to go right after church (our ceremony is at 4, CH is at 7, hospitality starts at 5:30).
Figure out the MOST you want to pay and make a list of all the extras you want. HTH!
