I posted some pics in my album , it was kinda not possible to take pictures of the starlight room or the main ball room becuase they were all conected and open with vendors.

It was nice. i have everything done so i didnt really need the vendors but they crest hollow cakes on display that were beautiful and tasty!

i'm confused about the cakes.
when i went there, my bm told me there were only 2 cakes designs to choose from.
are there more now?

i dunno i asked them if they were all crest hollow cakes and they said yes. i will post the pics when i get home they were beautiful.

I just spoke to my BM and he said that they are choices but there is an up charge of what ever the difference is between the regular cakes and the fancy cakes. I am excited because they never had this upgrading option before!!!

i knew i could upgrade; i just wasn't sure how they figured out the cost.

I am not sure, i feel the same way that they done disclose certain things with you . but i would think that they would have a few options.

They're certainly not the best when it comes to informing their clients..it's like they follow a 'if you don't ask, we don't tell' policy.
I read about their room renovations on this site and when I asked my BM about it, he told me (jokingly) to stop going on those 'creeper websites.' But if I haven't found out and asked, he wouldn't have said anything! As a client, I feel they have an obligation to keep us informed. I would rather have too much information than none at all.
Would a dentist not tell a patient they have a cavity unless asked? LOL

I agree with that 100% also my wedding is far off but when i signed they had changed the menu slightly when i booked.. like literally two small changes only one of which effects me but being that im there to sign a paper i would have liked to get a new menu!
also they are supposedly redoing the starlight room this year? So my BM told me before we signed so we booked the room has anyone else heard this?

i honestly wouldnt worry too much. CHCC has seemed great with me. When i first met she was open and honest about opening the new room and making renovations....all which seems to be underway (or complete). They said i can go see the upgraded menu but i am sure that if i wanted selections from the old menu it wouldnt be a problem since that is what i signed off on. I havent been in touch with them much recently since it is too far away for me to have a tasting and meet with them for cakes, linens, etc...but i am really confident that it will all be perfect!

i dont know what the exact menu changes are...all i was told is that they were 'upgrading it'
As for the rooms, when i booked i was told that they are re-doing the dance floors (now going to be marble) and carpet

the only menu upgrade is like the salmon to shrimp oreganta and something on the deserts changed , it wasn't a big deal.
