Crest Hollow

So we booked with Crest hollow, woo hoo! Who has had their wedding there or will be soon? I'm wondering about what the time frame is for making decisions about decor, food & the cake... do they do a tasting for the cocktail hour/dinner foods?

Also our wedding will be Kosher, has anyone worked with the kosher kitchen there? Im a lil concerned about our cake being parve, will we get to try samples?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Crest Hollow - Long Island Weddings

I went to a kosher wedding at Crest Hollow a few years ago and the food was amazing!!! Especially the Viennese hour if you're getting that. I was shocked at how good all the parve desserts tasted!

I am getting married at the CHCC, not a kosher wedding though.
The decor and food you decide at what htey call party plannign meetings about 2-3 months before..You can do a tasting tho , I did mine in September you get 1. dish of cold anitpasta, and 4 cocktail hour dishes..since you dont have to choose or narrow down the dinner options you get all 7 there is no point in tasting those..
(i dont know if this is different for a kosher wedding)

Yay Crest Hollow!! I'm getting married 9 days before you :) Like flynn14 said you get to do a food tasting beforehand and the planning meeting. Just talk to your BM about any questions you may have.
