Has anyone heard that they will be doing renovations soon? I'm hearing mixed reviews about the food/decour..etc We went to see them and we like them...any feedback before we book?

We have our company christmas party there. I cant speak for the mixed reviews, but I'll tell you my honest opinion and FYI: Im not having my reception there. The place is beautiful. The decor is elegant. The food was great. The service was top notch. You wont get any complaints here. I loved the place. So mixed reviews or not, if you like the place, BOOK IT!!!!!

I haven't heard about rennovations, but I got married there in May, and the food was fantastic (we got raves actually, like we cooked the stuff..lol) the rooms were gorgeous, the attention was first rate, the service was impecable. We really didn't have one single gripe with the place.

I just got married there on August 2 and they were wonderful. Everything so great and the service was unbelievable. It was supposed to rain on my wedding day so they had the ceremony set up for inside but it wasn't raining at 11:00 when i got there. I told them that i know the weather is calling for rain but since it is not raining yet i want the ceremony outside b/c it is so beautiful out there. It was no problem, it was set up in 15 minutes. I forgot my bridal attendant's name but she was great. She changed the buttons on my dad's tux to the dressy black ones so he would stand out more. To sum it up, everything was perfect!!!
I don't know about the renovations, i heard they were doing some but i can't see it interfering with anyone's wedding. I doubt they would do anything on the weekend. Ask when and what they are doing.

I heard some floating rumors too... I called Crest Hollow(about 1 month ago) and asked...their response was at the time of your wedding (July) everything will be the same as you have seen it. So maybe there are plans in the works. I would call if you are unsure.

I was there on Saturday for a Christening party...I thought the food was very good. Don't know anything about renovations though...sorry!

I got married there last May and I have no regrets. I had an outdoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour. Everything was beatuiful and great from the decor to the food. Everyone had a great time!

You know...if they actually do some renovation...what could use it...is the carpet... and the dance floor...make that more modern wood floor...am i wrong?

Ok..so i talked to Leo, and he said the Emerald room 'MAY' have a newer look next year around Jan/Feb... they mention the architect will have final picture/rendering in the Fall... this was suppose to be happening now but some things feel though
hope this helps...he couldn't say any other rooms (upstairs) but those are newer so i doubt they would change...
