Does anyone know if crest hollow is actually doing renovations to their emerald room. i was hearing mixed rumors! i haven't called their yet, but i thought that one of you might know. thanks

I doubt it's a rumor cause I was told by a BM about it when I went there on Wed.....
I was told that the owner is considering renovating the emerald room by doing two main things: 1) doming the dance floor ceiling and 2) adding french doors to the patio exit....
Also was told it would only take about 10 days to do cause anything longer would mean losing business.

I used to work at the Crest Hollow and got the inside scoop when my FH and I went to look their for our reception. They are planning to redo the emerald room, however they are not promising anything. They were supposed to redo it last winter, but didn't. They are hoping to increase the amount of woodwork in the room, and open up the back and side wall as well, thus making it larger, and have more windows. My FH and I both worked there, and thats how we met! FM me if you need any tips, hints or suggestions for dealing with them.

Don't worry at all. The owner and manager are very into appearance and are very on top of things. When we worked there, I swear, whole rooms would be recarpeted or redone with a day or two. They won't do anything that compromises the look of any room for a wedding

thats what i was told so im really not freaking out...i wasnt too crazy about the dance floor ceiling anyways so as long as it improves it and doesnt mess with my date- im all for it
Laura- not to be nosy but why didnt you go with CH in the end? Is your FH a military man?
