crest hollow brides

I am getting married there in seven months and i haven't received a phone call from my banquet manager jeff since i booked. i've tried to call but haven't gotton a calls back! i have like a zillion questioins! does anyone know the following: is there a tasting? if you don't want to use the cake they have can you bring in another from an outside vendor? do they allow chocolate fountains? since i can't get a hold of someone there i thought maybe i would try you all!! thanks.

I'm sorry that you are not getting a response by your catering place and you are going through this. I would not even think of booking a place without having a tasting. Not an option, at least for me. As far as bringing a cake, many catering places do not allow outside food to avoid lawsuits in the event that someone gets sick. The catering place that I'm getting married have returned my calls so far and have been very courteous and prompt with their service. If I were in your shoes, I'd call them up and make an appointment so that all of your questions are answered. Write your questions down before you go to the place that way, you won't forget anything. Hi, I got married there last November and had a great experience there.

To answer some of your questions:
1- There is no tasting
2- I am pretty sure that you can bring in an outside cake. I had my cake from them and it looked very nice.
3- Not too sure about the fountain-that was not too popular when I was getting married.
