Crest Hollow Country Club - Chair Covers / Linens

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to LIW, but it's helping so much!

I am booked at Crest Hollow Country Club for 7/2008, and I'm going crazy over wedding colors and decor.

Has anyone covered the chairs at CHCC with the their provided chair covers? If so, can you post any pictures you might have?

I'm not 100% sure they allow any outside vendors to cover chairs or provide different linens ~ I'm looking into it, but again, if you've done this please let me know.

The chairs at CHCC are beautiful, they just have a dark cushion which I feel takes away from the direction I'd like to go.

I'm open for any ideas or help you guys might have.

I AM GETTING AT CREST HOLLOW MYSELF,,AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY DO NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH CHAIRCOVERS,,THEY COME FROM AN OUTSIDE VENDOR DO NOT COME DIRECTLY FROM THEM. I AM PRETTY SURE YOU CAN BRING OUTSIDE VENDOR BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A SERVICE THAT IS COMING DIRECTLY FROM THEM. I AM USING CHAIRCOVERS MYSELF I DO NOT LIKE THOSE RED CHAIRS, IT KINDA THROWS OFF THE DECOR THAT I AM GOING FOR,,,HOPE THIS HELPS

now I am all confused as well. Im doing a darker theme. Black n pink so my table clothes with me black with pink rose petals ( i know some mught not agree but no need to comment on my colors sorry but everyone always says 'BLack tablecolthes') anyway do you think anyone would even notice the chairs really???

if so what color do i cover the chair with
white with a pink sash???????

also ladies do we have to use there recommended florist?? I thought so but when you look at brides review from there they all have different florist?

You don't have to use their florist. That's just a suggested vendor. I did book with Pedestals b/c I think their stuff is amazing. Your florist just has to have the appropriate liability insurance.

You also are allowed to bring in linens/chair covers from an outside vendor. They tell you that there chairs are differently shaped than most, so check with whoever you go with that they've worked at the CHCC and they will fit. I'm not doing chair covers since my colors are fall colors, the burgundy and gold went perfect. I am doing a chocolate brown overlay. I'm getting those from Table WeAr (LIW vendor). Donna's is a sweetheart and her prices are really good.

Question why do you have to get your overlay from another place??? Crest Hollow offers colored linens right?

They only offer white, ivory, blush, burgundy (deep red) and green.
So if you want anything else, you'll have to have a separate vendor. They might be able to get it for you, but for an additional charge.

I was thinking of doing the overlay as well. I have not decided 100% on colors, but I am thinking about champage or taupe. I'll definately look into Table Wear - you seem to be happy with them.

I was thinking of doing the chair covers with the same color bow as the overlay....the only CHCC pics I've seen have the white/ivory cover with the white/ivory bow....I'm hoping my visions turn out to be what I want.....I definately lack in the 'artsy' department!
