Re: Crest Hollow Country Club Vendor Rules!

I'm a CHCC bride but I didn't have my wedding yet so i may not be much help.
I booked with a DJ that is not a CHCC vendor. There are other brides on this site that also booked other vendors that were not recommended by the hall.
I know that you can't have amplified music out by the pool. We are hoping to get married outside in the garden, weather permitting, and you are allowed to have music. We booked a string duet.

I'm getting married there on 4/10/10

1. From what I understand, you have to use their florists. That's it. They have recommended DJs and photographers but you can use outside DJs or photographers. If you use their recommended DJ or photographer then they eat for free once your min is met. If you bring in your own, they eat at 2/3 the regular rate once you meet your min.

2. I was told NO music if the cocktail hour is by the pool.

3. I can't answer this because I'm not having my ceremony there.

Oh, I want to add that there was some confusion recently on this site after I mentioned in a thread that I have to use one of their recommended florists. Some girls disagreed and it may be because it's a new rule and that Crest Hollow will grandfather in anyone who signed with them prior to the effective date of the rule. I emailed my BM regarding this and haven't heard back yet.

Also, did you notice the contract states ' The Vendor will need to submit a one million dollar liabilty insurance certificate' ?

Most of the suggested Vendors are very pricey..
especially the Florist. What Florist are you using?
